Opportunities, challenges, achievements

Threats include human and animal epidemics, pandemics, recessions, disasters, non-competitiveness of domestic livestock and poultry ranchers, limited farmland, and climate change.

The NMIS central office and all of its 16 regional technical operations centers have been certified to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System. NMIS has institutionalized the structure, mechanism and standards to implement the government quality management program.
