ENID, Oklahoma. –The local catering service Catapult Cuisine now offers a meal prep subscription plan, adding a new service to its existing range of fresh and healthy products already available in all Da Vinci stores.
Meal Prep subscribers can customize each meal, with different proteins, veggies, and carbohydrates. Subscribers select how many meals they want per week, with automated payments and renewals.
Options are available for one-time or recurring plans, making the meal prep subscription accessible to all types of customers, said Hesston Swenn, co-owner of Catapult Cuisine.
Guests can pick up their meals at Da Vinci’s Coffeehouse and Gelateria on South Van Buren or at the Iron Works Gym, or have them delivered by Instagrub.
Swenn initially set up their meal preparation service in 2018 at a local gym under the name Finer Cuisine, offering healthy meals in the microwave.
“When we originally started, we served a lot of sports people who were trying to eat healthy,” Swenn said. “Now, since our expansion, we have a lot more clients who have office jobs and want to eat healthy.
“It’s easier than going to McDonald’s every day for lunch.”
Swenn has been operating under the Catapult Cuisinse name in partnership with Da Vinci’s since July 2020, saying he wanted to branch out to make food more accessible to customers and to the community itself.
Nick Jackson, co-owner of Da Vinci’s and Catapult Cuisine, said it was the only such meal subscription service at Enid.
He said the relationship between Da Vinci’s and Catapult is symbiotic – the company needed food in its stores, and Swenn was already doing food well.
“I am passionate about growing local businesses in the city,” Jackson said. “We need local businesses with character that offer something that Enid can be proud of. So Catapult fits in well with that.
Catapult aims to take the weekly struggle out of meal planning, shopping, prep, cooking and washing up.
“It’s basically a gourmet take-out that’s quick, healthy, and delicious,” Jackson said. “We want to give Enid something different.”
The price of a meal subscription is about the same as a full meal at a fast food restaurant, Swenn said. Meal plans range from $ 7 to $ 14.
Catapult offers a 15% discount on first orders with the code “FIRST”. Rewards are available for using loyalty and referral programs.
In addition to food at Da Vinci’s, ready meals and subscription service, Catapult has also recently started offering corporate catering services.
“Eat something healthy, be good for your body, and don’t worry about all the in-between tasks that come with planning and preparing meals,” Jackson said. “Go out with your family, go to work, do this craft project.”
