A London-focused plant-based fast food chain has confirmed the launch of 30 new locations in the capital.

Neat Burger, backed by Formula One star Lewis Hamilton, also finalized a funding round valuing the company at $ 70 million, an increase from a valuation of $ 27 million last year.

Speaking of the expansion, Lewis Hamilton said, “We created Neat Burger to make plant-based food more accessible to everyone, whether you eat plant-based all the time or just want to add it. to your diet from time to time.

“The response to Neat Burger since our opening has been incredible. I’m really proud of the limits we’ve been able to push in this space and the expansion plans both in terms of locations and delivery are really exciting.

New dining venues include Victoria, Canary Wharf, Westfield Stratford, Bishopsgate and Ealing.

Sites in Queensway and Waterloo will follow in the spring and other sites will follow in Covent Garden, London Bridge, Clapham.

The latest fundraiser will also fund international expansion (including in the United States, United Arab Emirates and Italy) and product development, and was led by Rajeev Misra, CEO of SoftBank Investment Advisers.
